The Charity Iftar 2017, an initiative from Amat Family Charity Projects Singapore (AFCPSG), a nonprofit family organisation established in 2012, will be held at the Swiss Belhotel Harbour Bay Hotel in Batam, Indonesia.
The event includes spending a day with children from various orphanages in Batam.
Farhan Hassan, Project Coordinator, Amat Family Charity Projects, said AFCPSG is a nonprofit family organisation with an intention to help the community in neighbouring countries. The Charity Iftar in Batam will involve much more than the breaking of fast with needy children.
"We have lined up fun and exciting activities before and after the break fast session for both participants and orphans," he said. "Our mission for this event is to give firsthand experience for guests to interact with the orphans and at the same time give orphans the best Ramadhan moments they have ever had."

AFCPSG focuses on contributing back to the society by inspiring people through charitable experience shared amongst family, friends and the community. One of the highlights of each year is collaborating with various organisations in spreading cheer to children of various orphanages in Batam, Indonesia during the month of Ramadhan under The Charity Iftar. This will be the fifth year that the event has been organised.
