Fi Asia is back in Jakarta this October

Fi Asia, organised by UBM, is returning to Jakarta, Indonesia from 3 to 5 October to host the largest gathering of food ingredient suppliers in the ASEAN market, welcoming over 17,000 visitors and 750 exhibitors from all over the world.

Comprising 636 million consumers with constantly evolving tastes, the ASEAN region continues to have strong potential for the market in food ingredients, with Indonesia reflecting the strongest growth in the region. Indonesia’s population continues to grow rapidly and is estimated to reach 266 million in 2018 - making it the world’s fourth-most populous country, and the largest economy in the ASEAN region.

Bringing together domestic and international ingredient suppliers, distributors, and food and beverage manufacturers, the 23rd Fi Asia attracts a quality audience from across the food and beverage (F&B) industry sector looking for innovative ingredient solutions and international business opportunities. Exhibitors represent leading brands worldwide, including BASF, Brenntag Ingredients, DKSH, and Jebsen & Jessen.

This year's show includes conferences and exhibitor seminars, as well as a New Product Zone to showcase the latest industry developments, Innovation Tours that provide guided tours of the showfloor with experts from NutriMarketing, and Discovery Tours that allow delegates to discover innovative ingredients at their own pace. Fi Asia 2018 will also see the launch of a beverage ingredients (Bi) pavilion.

Fi Asia will provide full access to the ASEAN food ingredients industry, with an expected 20,000+ attendees and more than 750 exhibitors in 2018. Fi Asia 2016, the last time the event was held in Indonesia, saw a record number of 18,946 attendees and 716 local, regional and international exhibitors from 47 countries. Attendance grew 42% compared to Fi Asia 2014, which was also held in Indonesia.

According to the Fi Asia 2016 exhibitor survey 95% of exhibitors were satisfied with the experience.  Fi Asia 2016. The complementary visitor survey found that 97% of visitors would recommend visiting Fi Asia to a colleague or friend from the industry, and 96% of visitors wanted to visit Fi Asia in the future.
