Pilgrims leaving KSA after Hajj

The Saudi Press Agency has reported that 453,283 pilgrims have gone to Madinah after their Hajj, with 174,633 actually remaining in the city. These numbers are from daily statistics reported by the Madinah-based Unit for Media and Social Communication of the Hajj Committee.

The Saudi Press Agency also cited KSA Directorate General of Passports figures that 800,385 Hajj pilgrims had left the country as of September 3. Of these 710,583 left by air, while 76,732 pilgrims left overland. The remainder 13,070 pilgrims departed by sea.

By September 5, 85% of some 282,000 pilgrims from 19 Arab countries had already left KSA, Arab Countries Pilgrims Circumambulation Foundation said via the Saudi Press Agency. All pilgrims must leave KSA by 15 Muharram, in about two weeks.
