The KSA Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced the end of the registration period for Hajj 2022 applicants from Australia via their dedicated portal, as well as the end of the registration exercise for pilgrims from inside the country through the Eatmarna app and e-registration.
The portal included services for visa application as well as packages and support services provided directly to the Europe, US, and Australia pilgrims. In past years, they would have relied on in-country travel agencies for the same services. Registration was opened for these pilgrims on June 6, and for domestic pilgrims on June 3.
The ministry announced in April that 1 million pilgrims would be allowed to perform the Hajj this year. Hajj conditions for 2022 include the need to be fully vaccinated against COVID; aged under 65; and negative pre-departure PCR test.
