New book seeks to further understanding on Sufism

Sufism is often linked with inner peace and mystical spirituality. A new book, Sufi Experience of God, seeks to further understanding about Sufism and is billed as "a dervish guide to life and love in the modern world".

Author Dr Ahmad Javid Sarwari Qaderi aims to capture the essence of the Quran in Sufi Experience of God, and includes personal recollections and experiences of other Sufis in the book as well.

Dr Ahmad Javid spent 17 years in Iran where he studied Sufi literature and poetry. He also wrote Sufi light: the secret of meditation, The Spirit of a Sultan, Sufi Prayer and Love.
