More than two-thirds of Hajj pilgrims from Bangladesh already in KSA

The daily Hajj bulletin of 6 September from the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Bangladesh has announced that 68,919 Hajj pilgrims have arrived in Saudi Arabia to date. A total of 101,758 pilgrims from Bangladesh are expected this year.

A total of 19 pilgrims have passed away, 13 in Makkah and six in Madinah.

The Hajj is estimated to begin on 22 September, 2015, with the exact date subject to the sighting of the moon to mark the first of the month.  

The first batch of pilgrims departed for KSA on 16 August 2015, and the first
return flight to Bangladesh will be on 28 September 2015. The last departure flight to KSA is on 18 September 2015 and the last return flight to Bangladesh will be 28 October 2015.
