Release of Hajj seats under government discretionary quota

A further approved list of 10 persons were selected by the Honourable VP of India (HVP) against his discretionary quota of 75 for Hajj 2017, the Hajj Committee of India has announced.

All selected pilgrims are asked to submit their original valid international passport along with a recent passport-sized photograph, proof of payment of the total Hajj fees, as well as their Medical Screening and Fitness Certificate to their respective State/Union Territory (UT) Haj Committees (SHCs) on or before 11 July.

Further, the respective SHCs are advised to verify the documents received from the concerned pilgrims and forward the same to Haj Committee of India on or before 15 July, 2017.

This follows an announcement of a total of 125 Hajj seats released early July.
