Malaysia Airports brings festive joy to students from two Sepang schools

Malaysia Airports has taken 80 students from two schools to a shopping mall to help prepare for the coming Eid al-Fitr celebration as part of its Ceria Ramadhan 2018 corporate social responsibility programme. The two schools, in Sepang, are SK Sungai Rawang and SK Taman Sepang Putra Park.

According to Malaysia Airports MD Datuk Badlisham Ghazali, the Ceria Ramadhan CSR programme is an annual programme in its third year by Malaysia Airports, backed by the Selangor Zakat Board. "Malaysia Airports is committed to helping communities where our airports operate. The shopping programme aims to ease some of the burden borne by less fortunate families. The cost of preparing for the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration can be quite high," he said.

A RM66,996 contribution was presented to representatives of both schools by Badlisham.

Said Badlisham, "We hope that such charitable efforts will not stop here. We will try our best to create more of such programmes to help those in need."
