The Supreme Committee of Oman has asked residents to exercise extreme caution during the Eid al-Adha holidays while a total lockdown to stem COVID-19 is in effect. The committee has requested that the public limit movement during the day and avoid family unions and any other social gatherings, as gathering can cause the virus to spread. The committee has also called for firm enforcement of violations.
Under the lockdown rules, there is no travel between governorates, and a
curfew from 7 pm to 6 am. Public places and business outlets
are closed.
