Ka'abah undergoes scheduled maintenance

Scheduled maintenance for components of the Ka'abah have begun, according to a report by the Saudi Press Agency. The work is conducted under the supervision of the Project Administration Office in the KSA Ministry of Finance in coordination with the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques and relevant government agencies.

Saudi Finance Minister Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan said that the periodic maintenance works for the Ka'abah are part of efforts of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud under the supervision and follow up of HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, to take good care of the Ka'abah.

The Project Administration Project at the Ministry of Finance supervises projects of HM King Salman to expand the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque as well as in addition to increasing the total capacity of the mataf (circumambulation area), and the third Saudi expansion for the Prophet’s Mosque, square and relevant areas.
