World Halal Conference 2014 to push envelope on halal research, innovation and business applications

The World Halal Conference (WHC) is set to run from April 9 to 10 in Kuala Lumpur this year. The conference aims to create new technologies and business opportunities within the halal framework in line with Malaysian government’s efforts to inspire innovation in the halal industry.

The two-day conference will be held from 9 to 10 April 2014 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and will focus on issues and advancements in halal research, innovation and its applications in business. 

The conference will also feature an exhibition as well as plenary sessions on investment, Islamic finance, business networking ecosystems, halal vaccines and a halal showcase. 

World Halal Week, from 9 to 12 April, brings together the Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS) and the World Halal Week Conference (WHWC).
