From 8 June to 6 July 2016 NOOK, the level 1 restaurant at Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral, will cater for Ramadhan with an international twist to Malaysian dining. Executive Chef Phoebe Donko-Hanson has put together a menu that includes whole lamb stuffed with rice, beef Shin Rendang, as well as live Grill Stations among other treats.
Nook’s menu is a combination of flavours, textures and freshness. Favourites and specialties include Sarawak laksa made with paste specially ordered from Sarawak, Nook’s beef Burger, Nasi Lemak and chicken rice.
Nook's futuristic white pods replicate the first-class pods in a jet, while its green decor was chosen to remind diners of pandan leaves and kaffir lime. The green carpets at the pods are made out of horse hair, said to be the most durable natural fibre in the world. Iconic Raimond Moooi lighting, designed by Raymond Puts, illuminates the buffet counter.

The Ramadhan buffet will cost RM123 nett per person. Vouchers can be purchased for the buffet. There is an early-bird special of RM95 nett per person for purchases of 35 vouchers or fewer, and RM85 nett per person for purchases of more than 35 vouchers.
Outside of Ramadhan, buffet dinners cost RM98 nett per adult from Sunday to Thursday, and RM49 nett per child. Buffet dinners on Friday and Saturday cost RM110 nett per adult and RM55 nett per child.
