The initiatives included a Hajj pilgrims' e-portal hosted on the ministry's website, e-bracelets, as well as a structured effort to monitor performance indicators with goals to increase achievement rates, as well as introducing field observation and follow-up programmes.
Dr Bentin said, "The ministry's preparation for the upcoming Hajj season starts after the existing Hajj pilgrims' departure, and includes adopting advanced operational plans, evaluating what is provided by domestic and foreign Hajj pilgrims establishment and companies, ensuring the effectiveness of all electronic systems and human resources as per the Saudi Vision 2030, and receiving the large groups of Allah's guests (pilgrims and visitors) coming to the KSA through the different air, land, and sea ports."
Dr Bentin shared that preparation for the 2017 Hajj season (1438) starts by the arrangements for organisation and coordination with the Islamic countries' Hajj missions heads and officials, who will start to arrive in the next two months.
