A touch of Morocco at the Pullman Dubai Creek City Centre

Chef Mama, who has served with the Moroccan royal family in the late 80s in Rabat, Morocco, presides over the iftar buffet at Medley Restaurant, Pullman Dubai Creek City Centre.

Born in Morocco, Chef Mama earned her nickname due to her warmth and hospitality. Renowned for personally dishing out food and a warm welcome, Chef Mama evokes the nostalgia of home cooking in over the buffet at Ramadhan.

Throughout Ramadhan, Chef Mama's menu will include: moutabel, stuffed vine leaves, harira soup, Moroccan chicken tagine with almonds and lemon pickle, kousa bil laban, chicken or lamb shawarma, kunafeh Nabolsia, mixed baklava and fateer with cheese*. Entertainment provided for guests during their meals include a 'Garrab' who will serve juice in a traditional Arabic dallah, the distinctively shaped teapot.

*Fateer is Egyptian layered pastry. Harira soup typically contains tomatoes, lentils and chickpeas and sometimes meat. Kousa bil Laban are zucchinis with a spiced meat filling served with a yoghurt sauce. Kunafeh Nabolsia is a dessert with a crispy topping made with Nabulsi cheese, a white cheese from Palestine. Moutabel is an eggplant (aubergine)-based dip. Tajine is a spiced stew of meat and vegetables.
