The National Ferries Company (NFC) has announced 8% growth in passenger volumes and 15% in terms of vehicle volumes compared to the year before. The company said that 179,210 passengers were served as of end-September 2017, against 165,882 passengers in the same period a year before.
Shipped vehicle volumes also grew, with 45,482 vehicles as of end-September compared to 39,667 vehicles year on year.
Cargo volumes on board of the ferry fleet in the first nine months of 2017 reached 7,454 tons.
