The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has set the Hajj registration link for use by both Qatari citizens and foreign residents of Qatar performing Hajj, according to a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency.
In the statement, as reported by the Saudi Center for International Communication, the Ministry affirmed that the “government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and upon the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, welcomes the arrival of all Muslims of pilgrims, umrah performers and visitors from all over the world and will spare no effort for providing them with all services and facilities that enable them to perform their rituals easily and tranquilly.”
KSA has already begun receiving Hajj pilgrims, including from Malaysia, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Afghanistan at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah.
The Hajj officially begins on 8 Dhul-Hijjah and ends on the 13th of the same month, corresponding to August 19-24, 2018.
More than 2.35 million pilgrims travelled to Makkah for Hajj in 2017, about 1.75 million of whom came from outside KSA.
