Islamic Museum of Australia to host launch of book about its history

The Islamic Museum of Australia (IMA) is gearing up for another book launch, this time one about how it came to exist. The Journey: Establishing Australia's First Islamic Museum By Moustafa Fahour will be launched on 20 February on IMA premises.

Moustafa Fahour is the Founder & Director of the not-for-profit IMA, the first Islamic museum in Australia. He is also Executive General Manager of Habtoor Leighton Group, based in the UAE. In January 2015, he was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for his service to the visual arts and cross-cultural relations.
