View the Raya 2015 collection from traditional ready-to-wear label OOH! online, catering to the contemporary local woman who is modern and worldly, yet possesses a touch of tradition and practical sensibility.

Crisp and sharp colours, graphic prints, and playful sophistication are the hallmarks of this three-year-old brand. The line features a mix of contemporary designs using fun pastel hues with traditional cuts and their signature intricate beading. All are original designs by the co-founders, Dr Wan Puspa Melati, Dawn Jeremiah and Joanne Ho-Lee, who believe that traditional ethnic wear has always been part of the Malaysian culture – worn not just by Malay women, but also among the Chinese, Indians, Punjabis and Eurasians as well, during special occasions, at work and at play.

The fabrics, materials and embellishments used are sourced locally and all over the region. The pieces are then designed in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore and handcrafted both locally and around Southeast Asia. Each piece by the brand is sewn and beaded by traditional home tailors who are exceptional at their craft. OOH! is happy to play its part in providing part-time employment to these talented individuals, most of whom are single mothers or persons from economically-disadvantaged backgrounds.

There are seven designs in this year's Ramadan collection: three mother-daughter baju kurungs, two mother-daughter kebayas, and two adult baju kurungs:
