UMNO distributes over 500 cows for Eid Al Adha in Pekan, Malaysia

Malaysia's Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has distributed 539 cows for the Eid Al Adha sacrificial slaughter to mosques, government agencies and non-governmental organisations in the Pekan district, Pahang, Malaysia's news agency Bernama has reported.

Najib, who is the Pekan Minister of Parliament, was represented by Pekan
United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) Division deputy chief Datuk Abu Bakar Harun at the presentation ceremony. "This year, 59 mosques, 158 surau (Editor's note: prayer rooms) and 32 government offices and NGOs in Pekan will receive the contribution," Abu Bakar said.
