This makes 23 August 1 DhulHijjah according to the Calendar of Umm Al-Qura. Accordingly, the attendance at the Mount of Arafat, the peak and main pillar of Hajj ritual which is also called the Day of Arafat and the 9th day of Dhulhijjah, falls on 31 August 2017. Eid Al Adha falls on 10 Dhulhijjah, or 1 September 2017.

KSA announces Hajj days for 2017
The KSA Supreme Court, which had requested the public to view the crescent moon marking the advent of the Islamic month of Dhulhijjah at sunset of 22 August, has announced in a statement that many adult witnesses have testified to their perspective regional courts accordingly, the Saudi Press Agency has reported.

Eid al Adha will be on 12 September 2016
The first day of Dhulhijjah 1437 falls on 3 September
2016, the Mufti of Singapore Dr Mohamed Fatris Bakaram has formally announced.
"According to astronomical calculations, the crescent for the month of Dhulhijjah this evening did not meet the criteria agreed upon by member countries of MABIMS (Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore). As such tomorrow is the last day of the Islamic calendar month of Dhulqa'adah," he said in a statement.
This means Eid al Adha which is on 10 Dhulhijjah, will fall on 12 September 2016.
