Muis shares infographic on sunnah practices for Eidulfitri

The Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (Muis) has shared an infographic of the sunnah* practices for Eidulfitri (Hari Raya Puasa), which fell on July 6 in Singapore this year.

From the Office of the Mufti, the infographic lists six practices that Muslims would follow on the first day of the holiday, beginning with taking a shower in the morning, eating an odd number of dates before the Eid prayer, and dressing one's best plus applying perfume.

While only the first day is a public holiday in Singapore and is celebrated for a month, Eid public holidays vary in length in other countries.
