This year, the Singapore Pilgrims Affairs' Office (SPAO) comprises of 21 individuals who will be providing medical and welfare services to the pilgrims throughout the Hajj. They include the Head of Delegation, Chief Executive of Muis Haji Abdul Razak Maricar, two Muis Haj Officers, four Medical Officers, 10 Nursing Officers and four Assistant Pilgrims Officers.
Haji Abdul Razak Maricar said: "I am thankful that the preparation for all our 680 pilgrims have been smooth sailing, with the continued and strong support of the various agencies. The Association of Muslim Travel Agents of Singapore (AMTAS), Saudi Embassy, Saudi Haj authorities, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Health have worked with us closely to ensure that all measures are in place to facilitate our pilgrims' movement throughout their Hajj."
Muis has also created an Instagram account and a Facebook page to share the experience of Singapore Hajj pilgrims.
